7/15/2018 | The Graphic T-Shirt
Graphic T-shirts are some of my favorite items of clothing to wear. They’re classic, fit for every body shape and always on trend! For me, finding the right graphic tee can be a bit of a challenge. I’m a little picky about what I want the graphic to look like, so finding one with the right image, made with good quality fabric, fitting into my personal style, and at the right price can be tricky. I like shopping for most of my graphic tees at H&M (the majority of the ones I like I find in the mens section) or even Top Shop, if I’m looking for nice quality on a budget. However, I’m not afraid to spend a bit more money at places like Revolve Clothing or Shopbop that has that classic band tee vibe and logo, for that perfect vintage look and feel.
What I love the most about a graphic tee, is that they're extremely versatile letting you dress them up or down. Wear it dressy with a blazer, a great pair of slacks or a pencil skirt and some heals for the office. Or down with a pair of jeans, leather jacket, and sneakers for a casual night out. Anyway you wear it, you’ll always look put together! Here, I decided to wear my tee with a pair of washed black jeans and a quite quirky pair of sandals keeping this look very casual, clean and modern, leaving all the focus on the t-shirt.
Personally, I prefer to style my graphic tee's with a little bit of edge. I’ve always wanted to think that I could be biker chic or punk rock. But as I’ve gotten older, I've realized that I need a bit more refinement in my style. So still trying to be edgy and emit those “cool girl” vibes, I decided to pair this tee with darker, more minimalistic pieces. Keeping the rest of your outfit simple, will help you look fresh and modern, while allowing the graphic on the tee to stand out. Still cool, yet a bit more refined! ;-)
